Library Regulations

Book Borrowing Policy

1Students may borrow two books at a time for a period of one week using the library card
2Books must be returned on time to avoid fines
3If books are returned late, a fine of Rs. 10/- is charged per day for the book
4If student is absent on the return day, books must be returned on the day they return to school with notification of absence in School Diary
5Books to be renewed must be brought to the library on the date of return for renewal

Fines & Penalties

1Late return fine: Rs. 10/- per day per book.
2Lost/damaged books must be compensated at an amount fixed by the librarian.

Reference Books Policy

1Reference books are for consultation/reference only within the library
2Reference books are not issued for home use
3All reference work must be done in the library itself

Library Conduct and Care

1Library books should be handled carefully - no tearing/folding of papers
2Students who damage or lose library books must pay compensation fixed by librarian
3Students causing damage to library furniture will pay for repairs/replacement
4Do not lend your library books or library card to others

Library Environment Rules

1Silence must be observed at all times in the library
2No eatables are allowed in the library
3Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the library
4The Librarian is available to help students
